For over 17 years we have been supplying fully managed technical event production services in Wales and the UK, to thousands of live and corporate events. From small conferences through to large awards ceremonies, small concerts to multiple stages across large festival sites, we have done it all. We apply the same level of quality and service to all of the events we work on, which is why 90% of our work comes from loyal and long term clients.

The Big Retreat Festival is a 3,000 capacity adventure, wellness and music festival based in Lawrenny, Pembrokeshire. Overlooking the Cleddau estuary, it is one of the most beautiful festival sites in the UK. We have been working with The Big Retreat Festival from its creation in 2017, watching it grow into a unique, successful, yearly event held across the late May bank holiday weekend.
As part of our fully managed technical event production services, we supply the following:
– Audio, lighting, video & staging across 9 venues.
– Audio, lighting, truss structure, pit barrier, stage platform, cable ramp and FOH tent for main stage.
– LED video wall, audio, 7M x 6M trailer stage & camera for the Chef’s Kitchen.
– Synchronised generators with fuel management, cables & distribution for site power and camper hookups.
– Site lighting including 60 LED floods & PARs, plus 2kM of festoon.
– A team of 9 experienced technicians and electricians, to manage the site.
“Dave and his team have supplied The Big Retreat Festival with a full event production service for the last 7 years. They have consistently provided us with an outstanding service and go above and beyond our expectations every year. Nothing is too much trouble and they come up with ideas and answers for all of our requests at the festival. We very much look forward to working with them each year.” Amber, Festival Director

More Than Just Fires Awards
In 2023, we had the honour of working with Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service for their “More Than Just Fires” awards ceremony at The Metrolpole Hotel & Spa in Llandrindod Wells. Welsh referee legend Nigel Owens hosted the evening, with awards been given out to many deserving recipients throughout the evening.
As part of our fully managed technical event production services, we supplied a d&b audiotechnik Y-series sound system with Shure MX418 gooseneck lectern microphones, for clear and consistent audio throughout a fairly difficult room. Two 75″ TVs and two 60″ TVs were provided for the awards presentation and for live camera feed, via of our Sony video cameras and Roland video switcher.
Our battery powered, wireless DMX LED uplighters and LED moving heads were supplied for atmospheric and effects lighting throughout the evening, all controlled with one of our Chamsys lighting desks.
“I just want to say a big thank you for your services last Friday. It run smoothly, you offered a professional set up that made the evening run well and look fantastic. Gethin, Sion and Charlie were super friendly, helpful and attentive and personally speaking, it was so nice to not have to worry about any of the technical stuff, especially in such an awkward room.” Linsey, Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue
New Quay Music Festival
New Quay Music Festival is a relatively straightforward event; three days of live music on a football pitch, for locals and summer holiday tourists. What makes New Quay Music Festival such an exciting event for us, is their desire to maintain an extremely high level of technical production for an event of this scale and the high quality bands and artists.
The Friday evening is usually a popular tribute act, Saturday a popular original artist from the 80s and then rock bands on the Sunday. We provide fully managed technical event production services, which include our trailer stage with a catwalk, d&b audiotechnik Q series line array, Allen & Heath SQ-6 at front of house and monitor world, a huge Chauvet Professional lighting rig and our LED video wall at the back of the stage. We also provide site lighting, cable ramp & pit barrier.
Between the Trees Festival
With its unique theme of nature & science, Between the Trees Festival aims to reconnect people to the natural world. It features a blend of original indie folk music, art and spoken word within a community that embraces all and encourages thinking and creativity. Set in the beautiful Candleston Woods, Merthyr Mawr, Between the Trees is a festival like very few others.
With the main festival site being right in the heart of the woods, we had the perfect opportunity to create something really special with the use of LED flood lighting, festoon and outdoor moving heads, lighting the beautiful and extensive woodland canopy. We also had the challenge of designing a new stage structure for the festival’s “Fforest Stage”. Placed right between two trees, with very specific parameters and on a steep slope, we had to come up with a design that would suit the technical requirements of a festival stage, without looking like a mainstream festival structure.
In previous years, before we had the pleasure of being involved with Between the Trees Festival, the stage had issues with site lines, stage clearance and poles being placed on the stage causing obstructions to site lines and artists on stage. Working with Afon Events, who supply the stretch canopy, we came up with a custom truss structure on a 7.5M by 6M platform which worked perfectly.
As part of our fully managed technical event production services, we also supplied sound, lighting and staging across three venues, all of site lighting, generators, cables, distribution and a team of experienced technicians and electricians on site for 8 days, to ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
“During the past 2 years, not only have we had fantastic service from David and Gethin, they have also embraced our vision and improved the Between The Trees event beyond all our expectations with their professionalism, creativity, innovation, good communication and excellent sound and lighting.” Andrew, Between the Trees
Westival
Westival is a four day boutique music festival based in Manorbier, Pembrokeshire. With six venues, all showcasing different genres of music including live disco / funk, DnB, house, garage and many more, quality sound is essential. With 3am finishes on two of the four nights, noise control is also crucial in order to minimise disruption to surrounding nature and also local residents.
We provide full production including d&b audiotechnik sound systems, lighting, and staging to three venues, including our trailer stage for the main stage. We designed a custom truss cube structure with 360° sound, allowing festival goers to get up and personal with the DJs, while maintaining excellent audio quality. d&b audiotechnik speaker systems offer the very best in sound quality, while allowing us to control and direct the audio to where it is needed, minimising offsite noise pollution.
There are strict noise management protocols in place, which we have been able to adhere to, whilst maintaining the volume and quality festival goers expect at this level. Upon a site visit from council officials, they were amazed out how quiet it was offsite, but once you were on site and at a venue, the levels were as expected.
